Designing and Creating Google Classroom

Below are the steps for creating an online learning class by using Google Classroom. For MStart creating a new class in Google Classroom by going to the page address **classroom.google.com . **Please log in with using your Gmail account. If you have logged in to gmail, you can also log in to Google Classroom, by clicking on the Classroom option on the Gmail account menu.

After clicking the 9 dot icon, the following Google applications will appear, then select and click the Classroom icon To create a class, click the plus sign (+) icon and select create class (create class). When starting to create a class, there will be an approval warning. The approval state that you do not use Google Classroom for school with students, for example a class that you create just to study together. You must use G Suite for Education (Google for Education) if you wish using Google Classroom for schools and students. Next, the following text will appear and check the small box at the bottom, then click continue After clicking continue, you will go to the next stage, namely filling in the initial form class opening. The class name must be filled in, in the section menu you can fill in a brief description, class level and class schedule. Click create, your learning class in Google Classroom is ready to be filled. In the initial display of the class that you have created, the class name, short description and class code will appear. The menus that appear are the Forum Menu, Class Assignments, Members, and Grades. The class code that we will share with teachers or students is on the right under the class description, while the class theme menu is in the menu on the right. To change the theme we can select and click “Select theme”, and images will appear as follows: It is best to choose a class theme according to the subject being taught and then click select class theme. That’s how to create an online learning class using Google Classroom services. Once the class is ready, the next step is to invite the teacher, students and prepare the activities to be carried out such as attendance list, materials, discussions, assignments, assessments and so on.
