Installing LaTeX Engine on Blog

memasang mesin latex di blog

On this occasion, I will only tell a story, when he first started learning LaTeX at the end of last year, I looked for references on Google and found several blogs that had LaTeX Engine installed in them, this is certainly one of the attractions and makes it very easy for LaTeX students who want to know the results of writing their LaTeX code. For example, the Blog https://www.latex4technics.com, and https://www.latexdraw.com. Begins from Curiosity and curiosity about how to install a LaTeX ’engine’ or LaTeX Engine on a Blog like the one on this Blog, I searched for various online literature and asked fellow bloggers, but had not succeeded in finding a way. Then, armed with courage, on Friday, July 16 2021, I had the courage to write an electronic letter (email) to the Blog I www.latexdraw.com

, namely Mr. Muhammed Benmiloud. Unexpectedly, he replied to his email and provided a link to an article on Github. On Saturday, August 14 2021 I contacted a blogger (pen name R-Stats

) via the contact provided on his blog, asking how he installed the CodeCogs LaTeX Editor page on his blog. Hmmm, apparently he is a statistics lecturer in Yogyakarta. Unexpectedly, he provided a script to install CodeCogs LaTeX Editor on the blog. And successfully installed on this blog, I deliberately named it MaTeX, an acronym for Mathematics and TeX. To try writing it or just take a look, please check it out here.

Then on Sunday, August 15 2021, I sent a link from Mr. Muhammed Benmiloud told him to learn, it didn’t take much time, he could find the script (lecturers are different) and try it on his blog and it worked 100%. Not waiting long, I was given the script and installed it on the blog www.aantriono.com

. Saluuuut to him, really cool. 👍.

Actually, what is LaTeX Engine or LaTeX engine? You can read the explanation here,

or there.

So far, to use LaTeX online, I use the site www.overleaf.com, and offline uses TeXLive. In the LaTeX engine there are various options available, whether to use pdfTex, XeLaTeX, LuaLaTeX or others. As a test material, please copy the following code.

% Kode Bendera Turki ini telah I publish sebelumnya.\documentclass{article}\usepackage{fancybox}\usepackage[x11names,dvipsnames]{xcolor}\definecolor{bulanbintang}{rgb} {255,255,255}\usepackage{tikz}\usetikzlibrary{shapes.geometric}\title{Bendera Turki}\author{Aan Triono }\date{\today}\begin{document}\centering\maketitle\begin{tikzpicture}\fill [red] (-5,-4) rectangle (8.5,3.5);\fill[bulanbintang,even odd rule] (0,0) circle (2.5);\fill[red] (.54,0) circle (2);\fill[bulanbintang] (2.9,0) node [ regular polygon, regular polygon sides=5, inner sep=0pt, minimum size=1.5cm, shape border rotate=20] (A) {} (A.corner 1)\foreach \i in{1, 3, 5, 2, 4} {-- (A.corner \i) } -- cycle;\end{tikzpicture}\end{document}

Next, open the LaTeX Engine page on this blog and delete all the existing code and replace or paste all the code, then click Run at This Site. See the output on the page below. If there are no typing errors, the result will be as shown in the following image.

Apart from that there are options Open in Overleaf, if we click on the text, the LaTeX code will automatically be saved in our overleaf account. Next, here is the LaTeX code that comes from his blog Mr Stefan Kottwitz.

\documentclass{standalone}\usepackage{pgfplots}\usepgfplotslibrary{polar,colormaps}\begin{document}\begin{tikzpicture}  \begin{polaraxis}[      domain  = -14400:14400,      samples = 3000,      colormap/cool,      hide axis    ]    \addplot[no markers,mesh,opacity=0.5] {1-sin(40*x/39};  \end{polaraxis}\end{tikzpicture}\end{document}

If there are no typing errors, the result will be as shown in the following image.

After successfully installing LaTeX Engine on the blog, and seeing the results, we can conclude Indeed, the compilation results are the same as when writing the code yourself on the overleaf.com site or on TeXLive. It’s just that there are still shortcomings and I have also asked about this via electronic mail with the help of Mrs. Yeni Sutrisni to Mr. Muhammed Benmiloud, namely: How do I upload files into the LaTeX Engine on a blog? Do you know the solution? Please write it in the comments for us to discuss. That’s the article about installing a LaTeX Engine or Latex Engine on a blog using a script from GitHub. Thank you. I hope this is helpful. Thanks to : Mr. Muhammed Benmiloud, Mr. R-Stats Lecturer.
