Education Calendar for Academic Year 2021-2022
SCurrently the school has entered a new academic year. Of course, there are many tasks carried out by teachers. As we know, the teacher’s job is to plan, implement, evaluate, assess and follow up on learning outcomes. Regarding planning learning, teachers need to make an effective week plan, syllabus, lesson plans, teaching materials, LKPD and so on. For timing, refer to the educational calendar made by the district or provincial education and culture office. The educational calendar is a time setting for students’ learning activities during one academic year which includes the beginning of the academic year, effective learning weeks, effective learning time and holidays.

Preparation of Education Calendar and Number of Study Hours Effective in Schools is intended as a drafting guide School Education Calendar in implementing activities learning for schools for the 2021/2022 academic year. this guide determined based on the Decree of the Head of the Education Service and Culture of Lampung Province Number: 800/769/V.01/DP.1C/2021 March 19 2021 regarding Education Calendar and Number of Hours Effective Learning in Kindergarten/Outdoor Kindergarten Ordinary, Primary School/Special Primary School, Middle School First/Special Junior High School, Middle School Upper/Special High Schools and Middle Schools Vocational School Year 2021/2022 in Lampung Province.

Educational Calendar Components
The start of the school year is the time when learning activities begin at the beginning of the school year in each educational unit. Effective learning weeks are the number of weeks of learning activities for each academic year in each educational unit. Effective learning time is the number of learning hours each week, including the number of learning hours for all subjects including local content, plus the number of hours for self-development activities. Holiday time is the time specified when scheduled learning activities are not held in the educational unit in question. Holiday time can take the form of mid-semester breaks, inter-semester breaks, end-of-school year holidays, religious holidays, public holidays including national holidays, and special holidays. After the school receives an educational calendar created by the district or provincial Education and Culture Office, the school then prepares an educational calendar at the educational unit level which will be used for one academic year. Of course, the educational calendar created is adjusted to the situation and conditions in the educational unit.
