In an ongoing effort to transform mathematics learning into a more meaningful, interactive, and relevant experience for daily life, the Community Service Team (PkM) from Universitas Lampung (Unila) partnered with the Middle School Mathematics Teacher Subject Forum (MGMP) of Central Lampung Regency to hold an intensive two-day training workshop.

The workshop, titled “Development of Technology-Based MathCityMap Deep Learning Math Trail Activities to Enhance Middle School Teacher Competence in 2026”, took place on Tuesday–Wednesday, July 21–22, 2026, at SMPN 4 Terbanggi Besar. The event was designed to bridge abstract mathematical theory with the physical reality of the school environment through location-based technology.

On Monday, August 2, 2021, the Institute for the Development and Empowerment of School Principals and School Supervisors (LPPKS) held online training on data-based planning and management.

The activities were divided into two formats:

• synchronous, through Google Meet video conferences,
• asynchronous, through Moodle LMS.

SCurrently the school has entered a new academic year. Of course, there are many tasks carried out by teachers. As we know, the teacher’s job is to plan, implement, evaluate, assess and follow up on learning outcomes. Regarding planning learning, teachers need to make an effective week plan, syllabus, lesson plans, teaching materials, LKPD and so on. For timing, refer to the educational calendar made by the district or provincial education and culture office. The educational calendar is a time setting for students’ learning activities during one academic year which includes the beginning of the academic year, effective learning weeks, effective learning time and holidays.

On this occasion, I will tell you a little about the Driving School Program training that I have just participated in. What is the Driving School Program? The Driving School Program is a program to encourage the transformation process of educational units in order to improve student learning outcomes holistic both from the aspect of cognitive competence (literacy and numeracy) or non-cognitive (character) to realize the Pancasila Student Profile. Driving School Program is a program to encourage the transformation process of educational units so that they can improve student learning outcomes holistically from both aspects cognitive competence (literacy and numeracy) or non-cognitive (character) to realize the Pancasila Student Profile. Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia Number 1177/M/2020 concerning Guidelines for Implementing the Driving School Program, states that the aim of the Driving School Program is to improve competence and character in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile, guarantee equal distribution of educational quality through capacity building programs for school principals who are able to lead educational units in achieving quality learning, building a stronger educational ecosystem that focuses on improving quality, as well as creating a collaborative climate for stakeholders in the education sector, both at school and government levels regional and central. To achieve this goal, intervention at the educational unit level is carried out by strengthening school human resources through training and mentoring. Training and mentoring to strengthen school human resources uses a learning platform in the form of Learning Management System Driving School Program (LMS PSP) and facilitated by the instructor.
