Concept of Integers and Fractions
In mathematics at SMP/MTs grade VII, number material is the first topic taught in the odd semester, consisting of whole numbers and fractions. Numbers themselves are a mathematical concept used for counting and measuring. Symbols used to represent a number are called numerals or number symbols. In mathematics, the concept of number has expanded over time to include zero, negative numbers, rational numbers, irrational numbers, and complex numbers.
