This Too Shall Pass

Peace be upon you… Friends, on this occasion Afra Media would like to share a short lesson through the following story. May it be of benefit.

A young man was driving with his mother. After they had traveled several dozen kilometers, dark clouds gathered and strong winds began to blow. The sky grew dim, and some vehicles started pulling over to the side of the road.

“Mom, should we stop?” the son asked.

“Keep going,” his mother replied.

So he continued driving. The sky became darker, the wind grew stronger, and heavy rain began to fall. Some trees had fallen, and others were bending hard in the wind. The situation was frightening. Even large vehicles began to stop by the roadside.

“Mom…?”

“Keep driving,” she said again, still looking straight ahead.

The son pressed on with difficulty. The rain was so heavy that he could see only a few meters in front of him. He began to feel afraid, but he kept driving, even if only very slowly.

After a few more kilometers, the rain began to ease and the wind slowly calmed down. A little farther on, they finally reached a dry area where the sun was shining.

“Now stop the car and step outside,” his mother said.

“Why now?” he asked.

“So you can see what would have happened if we had stopped in the middle of the storm.”

He got out of the car and looked back. In the distance, the storm was still raging. He imagined the people who had remained trapped there.

At that moment he understood: never stop in the middle of a storm, because that is where fear keeps you stuck.

When we face a storm in life, we need to keep moving. Do not stop in despair, because despair only keeps us trapped in what frightens us. Do what you can, keep trusting, and remember that every storm will pass.

Keep moving forward, because beyond hardship there is clarity, and with patience there is a way through.

Life does not always run smoothly. We need stones in the road so that we learn to walk carefully. We need thorny paths so that we learn vigilance. We need crossroads so that we become wise in choosing. We need direction so that we can keep hope for the future. We need problems so that we recognize the strength God has placed within us. We need sacrifice so that we learn how to strive with sincerity and intelligence. We need tears so that we grow humble. We need criticism so that we learn to value correction. We need laughter and smiles so that we remember gratitude. We need other people so that we remember we are not alone.

Do not answer problems with complaint and anger. Face them with patience, gratitude, and a heart that refuses to give up.

Keep moving even when obstacles come. Do not be afraid. When there is no wall to lean on, there is still a floor on which to bow.

The finest good deeds are often the ones unseen by others, yet deeply felt in the heart.

Do not keep counting what is gone; count what still remains. Even a small income can be enough when it is used for what is truly needed. Even a large income can feel lacking when it is spent only on lifestyle.

Pleasant words are not always true, and painful words are not always wrong.

Life is short. Let go of those who hurt you, and love those who truly care for you. 😊🤗
